Le samedi 7 mars 2015, dans la soirée, un OVNI très brillant et de forme sphérique a été repéré juste au-dessus du hangar du seul témoin connu de cette affaire. Pendant près d’une heure, la lueur est restée visible planant dans le ciel, sans émettre aucun son perceptible à l’oreille humaine.
L’homme, avisé, a prévenu les gendarmes qui ont pu eux-mêmes apercevoir l’objet depuis Argenton-les-Vallées. Ces derniers se sont rendus sur place. Mais, au moment où ils sont arrivés, l’OVNI était parti en direction du Maine-et-Loire.
Le lendemain soir, l’engin non identifié est de nouveau réapparu. Suite à cela, les gendarmes ont ouvert une enquête afin de déterminer l’origine de cette lumière qui en a étonné plus d’un.
