An eyewitness from the city of Nijmegen says:
Last night at 2:30 am I saw a few bright spots in the air more than an hour. Sometimes they stopped or was moving slowly, but sometimes they quickly moved from side to side. Sometimes they disappeared out of nowhere and back again.
From time to time I saw more than ten points of light simultaneously, but only the brightest points I could film with the camera (Samsung S10). Bright spots seemed a little flared up, and sometimes they suddenly became so bright that they seemed to have broken out several times this flash also seemed blue.
Sometimes it seems that the environment around the bright spot is no longer black, and around it there are all sorts of color and movement. It's hard for me to explain the latter, but it is best to watch the video that I'm attaching. I made a few, but I included the best.

NIJMEGEN, GD — Vannacht zag ik vanaf 2:30 AM ruim een uur lang verschillende lichtpuntjes in de lucht. Soms stonden ze stil of bewogen ze langzaam, maar soms bewogen ze ook heel snel van de ene kant naar de andere. Soms verdwenen ze uit het niets en kwamen ze ook weer terug. Op momenten zag ik wel meer dan tien lichtpuntjes tegelijk, maar alleen de aller felste lichtpuntjes kon ik met mijn camera (samsung s10) filmen. De lichtpuntjes leken een beetje te knipperen en soms werden ze ook opeens zoveel feller dat ze leken te flitsen, enkele keren leek deze flits ook blauw te zijn van kleur.
Op sommige momenten lijkt het ook alsof de omgeving om het lichtpuntje niet meer zwart is, maar dat daar omheen ook allerlei kleuren en subtiele bewegingen plaatsvinden. Dit laatste vind ik lastig uit te leggen, maar hiervoor kun je het best de video bekijken die ik bijvoeg. Ik heb er verschillende gemaakt maar de beste heb ik bijgevoegd.
Hieronder enkele toelichtingen bij het filmpje:
- 0:50 : Pas vanaf hier (50 seconden) wordt het lichtpuntje beter zichtbaar/ fel genoeg dat mijn camera het goed kan vastleggen (Enkele keren is het lichtpuntje even niet (goed) zichtbaar, maar vanaf 0:50, 3:20 en 4:40 is het lichtpuntje telkens weer goed zichtbaar).
-1:35 - 1:50 : Hier zie je dat het lichtpuntje eerst naar boven schiet, dan even blauw van kleur wordt, en vervolgens opeens snel naar links gaat.
- 2:20: Hierna zie je onder het felle lichtpuntje ook een wat minder fel lichtpuntje (dit soort puntjes zag ik met het blote oog nog een stuk of tien verspreid in de lucht gedurende ruim een uur).
- 3:30 - 3:40 : Hiertussen verdwijnt het lichtpuntje 2 seconden en komt het vervolgens weer tevoorschijn
- 3:40: Vanaf hier kan je zien wat ik bedoelde met 'Op sommige momenten lijkt het ook alsof de omgeving om het lichtpuntje niet meer zwart is, maar dat daar omheen ook allerlei kleuren en subtiele bewegingen plaatsvinden.' Ik zie bijvoorbeeld ook even blauwe vlekken in de lucht..
Verder zie je door het hele filmpje wat ik hierboven heb beschreven. Het lichtpuntje dat enigzins lijkt te 'flikkeren' of knipperen en van langzaam naar snel verschillende kanten op beweegt.
Wat het is? Geen idee, wel was het gaaf om te zien. Het was m'n moeders idee om het op dit meldpunt te zetten. Of het ook echt een UFO was/ UFO's waren weet ik natuurlijk niet. Maar wat het wel is weet ik ook niet.. Dusja dan is het toch wel een 'Unidentifed Flying Objected' oftewel een ongeïndentifeseerd vliegend object.
Maar als jullie super logische verklaringen hebben waar ik nog niet aan heb gedacht dan hoor ik dat natuurlijk graag!
