An eyewitness from the city of Utrecht writes:
I was on the roof terrace looking up at the stars when a very bright blue light caught my eye.
It seemed to glow like a spotlight. At first I thought it was a laser. I found this very impressive because I also have several strong lasers, and they are far from reaching the brightness of this laser.
The light source was very far away. It made me feel the need to film it.
However, I took a photo at first by accident, this photo shows a round object. After taking the picture, I started shooting, and the beam started moving at a fast pace, at a distance where it was impossible.
It looks like it turned about 180 degrees the other way from my house in seconds! I have a video of a bright blue light moving quickly around me, but I can't upload it because it all just happened and I'll try it anyway. Photo attached.

UTRECHT, UT — Ik stond toevallig op mijn dakterras naar de sterren te kijken toen een zeer helder blauw licht me opviel. Het leek als een soort spotlight naar beneden te schijnen. In eerste instantie had ik het idee dat het een laser was. Wel vond ik het erg indrukwekkend want ik heb zelf ook een aantal sterke lazers en die halen in de verste verte niet de helderheid van deze laser. Zeker niet omdat de bron van het licht erg ver weg was. Hierdoor had ik de behoefte om het te filmen. Per ongeluk maakte ik echter eerst een foto, op deze foto is een rond object zichtbaar. Nadat ik de foto had gemaakt begon ik met filmen waarna de straal in snel tempo zich begon te bewegen, op de afstand waar het zich bevond kan dit bijna niet mogelijk zijn geweest. Het leek in een aantal seconden ongeveer 180 graden te zijn gedraaid naar de andere kan van mijn huis! Ik heb een filmpje van het helder blauwe licht dat snel rondom mij bewoog, echter kan ik die niet uploaden want is allemaal net gebeurd bij veel intresse zal ik hetbalsnog proberen . Wel is de foto bijgeleverd en een aantal prinscreens van de video.
