April 12, biology teacher Karstein Erstad witnessed an unusual phenomenon. Earthworms fell from the sky in the southern part of Norway.

"I saw thousands of earthworms on the surface of the snow," he told The Local. "When I found them in the snow they seemed dead, but when I put them in my hand, I found that they were alive."

Worms also fell in Sweden in 1920.
