Year 2002, the County of North Yorkshire, Hellifield, near Skipton.
In the early morning of April 7, at about 03:15, Linda V., a police officer, having finished her duty, was driving home from work in her own car.
On the way, she decided to stop the car on an open stretch of the A-65 near Hellyfield to admire the comet Ikea-Zanga. But when Linda got out of the car, instead of a comet, she immediately saw three bright lights flying in the sky, located as if at the vertices of a triangle. It was not clear whether it was three different objects or one with several lights.
She immediately telephoned the sergeant on duty with her, who was also on his way home to Otley, West Yorkshire. The sergeant stopped his car, got out of it, and immediately noticed the same lights, which he reported to Linda.
Each of them watched the UFO (or three at once) for about two minutes, then the objects disappeared behind the horizon.
