Initial data
We were on the road when we saw 2 long lights that alternately flashed horizontally. Then 2 or 3 seconds after he started to descend and was last seen behind the trees. Immediately after, the red circular light rose vertically at the spot where the first lights were last seen, and disappeared between the clouds.
The first 2 objects with long white lights flying one after the other horizontally, not very fast, flashing one after the other. So they flew for about 4 seconds, and then began to descend diagonally until they were out of sight behind the trees. It took no more than a second. After that, a round bright red light rose vertically into the clouds.
There are trees in the background, and a barn to the right. A truck was parked outside the barn. it was very overcast, but there was no rain.

Not more than a sec. after, a round bright red light went up vertically into the clouds. The background where some trees, a barn to their right. There was a truck parked outside the barn. it was very cloudy but it was not raining.
