Initial data
A glowing orange ball is moving at high speed and changing direction over the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
04.12.2004-00: 45 EST-clear sky-cold - very bright crescent moon. The constantly glowing orange ball moves at a very high speed (from horizon to horizon in 10 seconds) and moves over the city to the northwest. Could not determine the size, but the object seemed low to the ground 1000-2000 feet.
The object disappeared from view above the horizon for 10 seconds, then shot from west to east at an incredible speed and very low - much lower than before-about 500 feet (150 m)... from horizon to horizon in 1 second.
It was not seen again, nor were any other objects seen for the next 5 minutes.
