I was approaching a four-way stop in a residential area. Not to look up, but to look straight into the field and the clear sky.

Something quickly became visible and took off insanely fast, then disappeared into the sky. I can't even describe what I saw that night.

It happened in a matter of seconds. It almost looks like it was going up, not down.
