He was standing on the back door step, smoking. I looked up and saw a yellow pulsing light moving at a constant speed through the sky. There was no noise, and the sky was covered with mottled thin clouds.
When the light passed over the house, I thought that it was not as high as the usual planes I had seen, and it did not have flashing lights, it just moved silently with a slight impulse, the other looked identical to the first. The same height, the same color.
The second was moving in the same direction, about 1,000 yards behind. Then I ran through the house and called my family, which I thought I saw, everyone followed me upstairs, and we all looked out the bedroom windows.
By this time, the first one had left, and the second one had faded away. Then I went down the stairs and went back to the back garden and saw the third object/light. I called everyone into the garden, and we all stood together and watched it move across the sky. Our dogs were very excited, started barking and running. Perhaps because we all ran up and down again.
I didn't have a camera, and now I'm very sorry that I didn't do it. These are not rockets/planes/police helicopters.
The direction was from the south to the northeast. It seems that they appear out of nowhere. I assume that this impression was made by thin clouds. I'm not sure if they really appeared or broke through the cloud. The entire observation time was no more than 2 minutes. None of us have ever seen anything like this before. It was very strange.
Now I have a video camera next to the back door. You never know what you can catch on film. I intend to check the local press on Monday to see if anyone else has seen them.

As the light passed over the house I guessed it to be not as high as general planes Ive seen and it did not have any flashing lights it just moved silently with a slight pulse another appeared identicle to the first. Same height same color. The second was heading in the same direction, about 1000 yards behind. I then ran through the house called to my family what I thought I was seeing everyone followed me upstairs and we all looked out of the front bedroom windows. By this time the first had gone and the second was fading. I then went down stairs and back into the rear garden and saw a third object/light. I called everyone to the garden and we all stood together and watched it move accross the sky. Our dogs where very excited and began barking and running around. Possibly becau! se we had all ran upstairs and down again. I didin’t get my camera and now I’m really regretting not doing so. Their where not flares /planes/police helicoptors. The direction was from south to northeast. As there seem to just appear from nowhere Im guessing maybe it was the thin clouds that gave that impression. Not sure if they did just appear or broke through cloud. The whole time of this sighting was no more then 2 minutes.Non of us have seen anything like this before.It was very strange.
