Initial data
The ball hovered randomly over Gelligaer Common, turning a reddish-orange color that looked like it was a floating fireball.
Thin short streaks of red light were coming from the outside of the object. He made no sound and passed through Merthyr Tydfil to Cefn Coed, and then west towards Aberdare.
It was too quiet and quiet for an airplane or helicopter. There was no wind that would carry something across the sky, and I could not come up with any logical explanation for UFOs.
