I was riding last night from about 20: 40-00: 30 with two friends. Shortly before we gathered for the night, we noticed a white light in the sky, half the size of the moon, which may have been pulsating.
I know for sure that we saw this light at 00: 14, because I took 6 photos on my phone, and the photos are dated 00: 14 - 00: 15
31.01.2010, nothing special is visible in any of the photos. although a small dark circle is visible on the negative in three of the six photos (my phone's camera is only 2.0 megapixels).
The first time I noticed the light was when I sat down. I was tired of skating, so I was lying on a bench near the TK Maxx store, looking at the sky, and out of the corner of my eye I saw it "floating". He was high in the sky, probably at an altitude of 20 thousand feet and stayed in one place for almost a minute.
Both my friends saw it. At the very end, he took off and flew very quickly over the city. That was the last thing we saw.

Summary: I had been skating from around 20:40-00:30 last night with two friends.
