Initial data
The author of the original article received a call from JM about this event and told her about the crop circle formations.
She said that the elder would give her their photos and inform her about what had happened. She also reported that several people saw red lights flying over the Blind River.
On Monday, July 26, a man driving from Sudbury to Cutler (about 26 miles east of Blind River) saw a red light in the sky. He said he was flying too slow for a shooting star or meteor, and said he was flying straight across the sky and didn't fall.
And on Tuesday evening, July 27, at about 21:30, a man from Goulet Bay (near Blind River), who was watching the sky, had a similar observation.
He also said that the light was not a shooting star or a meteor, that it passed straight through the sky and did not fall.

I received another call from JM about the event and told her about the crop circle formations. She told me she would be given photographs of them by the elder who reported the incident to her. She also reported that a couple of people have had sightings of red lights flying around Blind River. On Monday, July 26, a man driving from Sudbury to Cutler (approx. 26 miles east of Blind River) saw a red light in the sky. He said it was going too slow for a falling star or a meteor and he said it went straight across the sky and was not falling. And on Tuesday night, July 27, at about 9:30 p.m., a man from Goulais Bay (near Blind River) who was outside sky-watching, had a similar sighting. He also said the light wasn't a falling star or a meteor, that it went straight across the sky, and didn't fall.
