My name is FL. It was either four or five years ago, I needed to go back; We keep records of when I worked. I was put on a permanent cemetery shift for the winter. I was patrolling the tailings dump and on my way back, I just turned off the spotlight because I was checking the pipeline. And I just happened to look up at the sky and noticed a light, a bright light basically going straight down.
I saw him walk through the clouds; the clouds were thin, reddish in color, because it was 4:10 in the morning. He fell ... he went behind the light tower, where the old Froude mine or the Murray mine is located... and went down over the hills again. And that's what I saw. Did not have... no trace. No trace of steam. No light trace, nothing. And that's what I saw.
And I was really ... shocked to see this. And I sat there for a minute or two, thinking about what I had seen. And then I flew out to ours ... what we call the mountain station, where the Dry and everything else is located. I was in a hurry to get there, in case this thing shows up again. So, this is basically my story. It's not a hell of a lot, but it's always been a mystery to me.
Then F.L. told how he saw the planes that took off from Michigan during the UFO incident on Falconbridge in November 1975:
"We didn't actually see anything, but we were working on the pipeline. And I assume that several planes were raised in North Bay, and they flew very low because it was overcast. And they were, I would say, about 300 feet off the ground, where we were, and they flew by very quickly. Later we found out that there was a UFO in the area. But because of the clouds, nothing was visible. But... except jet engines, which inspired me. And that's all I can say about it."

I seen it go through the clouds; the clouds were sort of a wispy, reddish colour 'cause it was 4:10 in the morning. It went down...it went behind a light tower where the old Frood mine is, or Murray mine is…and went back down in behind the hills. And that's what I seen. There was no...no trail of any kind. No vapour trail. No light trail, no nothing. And that's what I saw. And I was really...shocked to see it. And I sat there for a minute or two, contemplating what I had seen. And then I took off for our...what we call hill station is where our Dry and everything is. I took off there in a big hurry in case that thing came back up again. So, that's basically my story. It's not a hell of a lot, but it's always been a mystery to me. And that's why I'm calling.'
FL then related how he saw the jets which were scrambled from Michigan during the Falconbridge UFO incident of November 1975:

And they were, I would say, maybe 300 feet off the ground, where we were and flew over very fast. And we heard later on that there was a UFO in the area. But because of the overcast, we couldn't see anything. But..other than the jets, which kind of got me excited about the idea. And that's all I have to say about that one.
