Initial data
The author of the original article received the following email from Rosemary Paris:
"Hi, I just read you an article in today's Northern Life, and you said that if anyone has any information or observations, please contact you, so I'm here. The last observation I saw was on May 6, 2000. It was about 23:45. I was at a friend's house on Country Side Drive.
I happened to look up in a southeasterly direction and noticed a white light moving from the north. southward in the sky. So I called two of my friends outside to find out what they thought.
At first we thought it was a satellite, but when it completely moved from north to south, then from south to north, we thought it wasn't a satellite. Then he suddenly disappeared. The duration of observation was 1:30 min.
Then my other friend and I saw two more cases in late February and early March in the Ramsey Lake area. In each of these observations, the aircraft were in the air at an altitude of 300-500 feet. The only oddity in one of them was that a black helicopter was flying in the direction of the lights of this ship.
This helicopter flew about 200 feet in the air in my car on Ramsey Lake Road and headed over Ramsey Lake in the direction of Howie Drive. Also, in all these observations, there were probably 2 or more people who saw them."

'Hi, I just read you article in tonight's Northern Life and you said if anybody has any information or sighting please contact you, so here I am. The most recent sighting I saw was on May 6, 2000. It was about 11:45 p.m. I was at a friend's house on Country Side Drive and I happened to look up in a south/east direction and noticed a white light moving from North to South direction in the sky. So I called two of my friends outside to see what they thought. At first we thought it was a satellite but when it totally went from going North to South then to South to North direction, we thought there was no way it was a satellite. Then all of a sudden, it disappeared. The sighting was a good 1:30 min in length. Then me and my other friend have seen two other sighting back in late February - early March over and around the Ramsey Lake area. Each of these sightings, the crafts were maybe 300 - 500 feet in the air. The only strange thing about one of them was a black colored helicopter was heading out in the direction of the lights of this craft. This helicopter passed me about 200 feet in the air in my car along Ramsey Lake road and was headed out over Ramsey Lake in the direction of Howey Drive. If you want to reach me call my cell phone at 705 670 5213 or just e mail me back. Also in all these sightings, there were for sure 2 or more people witnessing them.'
