Surely many Uralians remember how about 10-12 years ago UFOs appeared above us, perhaps more often than the usual silver airliners. It was during those years that I conducted a regular column on Sverdlovsk regional television and radio "Again about UFOs". Then we received many letters about this amazing phenomenon.
One day the mail brought an interesting message. Along with recent UFO sightings, Sverdlovsk resident Taisiya Minchenko told about a meeting with a glowing ball back in the seventies of the last century in the area of Posadskaya Street.
Rummaging through my diary entries of those years, I discovered that she and I at the same time saw the same outlandish object that was slowly moving from south to north. I keep this July Saturday day clearly in my memory. The sky was amazingly clear and transparent blue. Everyone who was in the courtyard of our house - and at that time I lived on Serafima Deryabina Street - watched the extraordinary celestial body with curiosity. As Taisiya Vasilyevna wrote in her letter, "barely visible rays seemed to emanate from the ball, and a slight tingling of the face and hands was felt." However, then I didn't have such a feeling.
