Initial data
A mysterious creature has been found on the African coast. A few days ago, on one of the beaches of the Yomoro district in Ghana, local residents found the remains of a mysterious creature - presumably a marine mammal.
A terrible stench emanated from the mysterious carcass. It is unknown how long the creature was in the water after death, and what changes happened to it during this time. The weight of the unknown monster is 6-8 tons, the head resembles a crocodile, and the tail looks like a whale. Businessman Isaac Williams, who visited the site, suggested that the remains may belong to one of the species of marine animals that are on the verge of extinction. In the near future, experts will begin to study the mysterious creature.
There is also an assumption that an unknown animal may turn out to be an extremely rare fish of the Coelacanth order, which lives at great depths. Something similar was caught in the early 20th century off the coast of South Africa and the Seychelles.
It should be noted that most often, unknown sea monsters turn out to be the half-decomposed remains of whales or giant octopuses. However, until the results of the analyses become known, one can only guess what the depths of the sea have expelled this time.
Hypotheses
Famous creatures
There are a huge number of different living organisms on our planet. According to recent estimates, the number of species of organisms on our planet is approximately 7-10 million. However, only 15% of the data are described today.
According to the calculations of Canadians, 2.2 million species live in the world's oceans, 6.5 million on land. There are only about 7.8 million species of animals on the planet, 611 thousand fungi, and 300 thousand plants.
Post-mortem changes
Because ordinary people are rarely familiar with the nuances of postmortem changes in organisms, it can often take them for something mystical.
Gray meat flies eat rotting tissue, leaving a sharp edge. This explains the "surgical" removal of organs and parts of the skin. However, such behaviors of the flies many take for the interference of aliens or attacked by unknown creatures.
