Initial data
On February 6, 1990, I was performing a routine training flight at night. The weather was simple, I took an altitude of 4000 m and started the task in zone No. 3. I noticed that another plane occupies the neighboring zone near the settlement of Urus-Martan.
Performing another training night flight, the pilot saw on the radar another plane flying at high speed. Performing another training night flight, the pilot saw on the radar another plane flying at high speed.
The only unusual thing was that the speed of this "plane" was an order of magnitude higher than mine, since in the interval between the flashing of the on-board aeronautical lights, it flew a distance 4-5 times greater than our type of aircraft. I was interested in this, I began to listen carefully to the radio exchange and realized that there were no crews in this area.
The object flew over our flight area, stopped, flashed a bright light, and I saw that it has the shape of a ball and rotates around its axis, somewhat resembling a soap bubble. I gained another 500 m altitude to get a better look at it, and clearly saw it hanging between two mountain peaks. My observations were confirmed by Captain Yesenov, who was returning that night on an AN-26 transport plane from Stavropol and noticed this object. When I took the plane out of the fourth turn, the object was not visually detected, it disappeared. In total, I watched a UFO for 3-4 minutes.
