"ASTV":
I myself observed this phenomenon in 1987 in the southwest of Sakhalin Island, over the Sea of Japan. We drilled exploration wells for coal there. The drilling rig and a residential trailer stood on a high hill near the sea. I was photographing slides at that time. They just brought me a German film (excellent quality - and this is not advertising), and I decided to create a collection of sunsets. The view from above was beautiful - the expanse of the sea, the island of Moneron in the distance... and blazing different sunsets every day… I took pictures at the same time (with a shift in the longitude of the day)...
It was summer, we drilled the well 700 meters and are waiting for geophysicists until they come from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and conduct research with their instruments... In short, lafa... We took the table out into the clean air, and we sit and play cards. There were six of us. I have a camera next to me on edge, biding my time... Then my assistant screams:
"Look, UFO!"
And indeed, a little away from Moneron and the setting sun, a very bright teardrop-shaped object (it even seemed to us that we had examined the portholes) is moving obliquely to the Northeast.
I started feverishly photographing, measuring the azimuth of movement, time, etc. The object moved for a little more than 17 minutes in a single vector, then simply disappeared, literally disappeared into the sky... but he appeared two minutes later above the horizon, from where he started his movement earlier, went the same way, but twice as fast and disappeared the same way... Here... I do not know what it was, but I published a note in the local newspaper, hoping that someone else saw it besides us... but in vain... And when I developed the film- oh, the irony of fate - it turned out to be completely clean... not illuminated, but clean, like from a store...
