In the Tbilisi Museum of Theater, Cinema, Music and Choreography, employees and visitors say that they have repeatedly seen the ghost of the Georgian Princess Agrafena Japaridze.
Unsolved phenomena are connected with a love story that happened at the end of the XIX century. A German count fell in love with the Georgian Princess Agrafena Japaridze. A nobleman offered her husband a million rubles in gold for one night with his wife. The Prince agreed. The lucky lover subsequently built a large palace for his lady in the center of Tbilisi.
According to the director of the museum, George Kalandia, a secret room was recently discovered in the castle, where lovers could meet before the wedding. Perhaps there are underground passages in it.
The lovers' happiness did not last long. The count fell ill and went abroad for treatment. At that time, the Bolsheviks seized power in Georgia. Agrafena was killed, and the ghost of a woman has been wandering around the castle, which became a museum, ever since. The museum staff say that this is Agrafena.
Eyewitnesses say that a white cloud with two silver dots appeared in the corridor. Psychics say that the souls of the dead become ghosts if they were full of negative energy during their lifetime.
Those who believe in ghosts say that Agrafena will disappear only when she meets the spirit of her lover. However, many tourists hope that this will not happen soon, because the casting has become an integral part of the museum.
