A bright object similar to a star was noticed by an eyewitness in the sky of Arnhem (Gelderland region):
My husband and I looked out. We saw a very bright, bright star in the sky. The star suddenly became brighter, and then began to move in a straight line. He stopped a little further away and started moving in all directions there, and then returned to where we first saw him. At this point, it turned red and began to descend in a straight line.

Heldere ster die bewoon, rood werd en neerdaalden
ARNHEM, GD — Mijn man en ik keken naar buiten. We zagen een hele felle, heldere ster aan de hemel. De ster werd plots steeds feller en begon toen in een rechte lijn te bewegen. Hij stopte iets veder en begon daar in alle richtingen te bewegen en ging weer terug naar de plek waar we hem voor het eerst zagen. Op deze locatie werd hij rood en daalde in een rechte lijn naar beneden.
