A clear evening, a few scattered clouds, stars are visible.
From the town of Cambridge, south of Hamilton, two witnesses watched two bright white lights moving in formation over the Hamilton area. The lights traveled at speed on the way from north to south. The witnesses believed that it was not an airplane, because they saw an airplane further west near Hamilton Airport, the configuration of the lights and flight characteristics of which differed from these lights.

From the township of Cambridge, just south of Hamilton, two witnesses watched two bright white lights moving in formation over the Hamilton area. The lights traveled at speed on a north-south path. The witnesses believed they were not an aircraft, as they sighted aircraft further to the west near Hamilton Airport, whose lights configurations and flight characteristics appeared different to these lights.
