On December 17 or 18, 1984, my colleagues and I were returning from work. We were already behind the cinema, when suddenly a woman excitedly turned to us to meet us, "Look what's happening on the net!" We looked around - a bright white ball was moving almost horizontally across the dark sky of the earth. Its magnitude was the same as we usually saw the sun, but bright white. And at the height that helicopters usually fly, this balloon hovered. The impression was that he was hovering over the plant (Arkhangelsk pulp and paper mill, located in our city of Novodvinsk). Then everything was exactly as described in the article "Labor". 

Green searchlight beams appeared, after which the ball was surrounded by colored circles and suddenly disappeared, leaving a green cloud. Almost instantly, a light green trace became visible in the sky, like from a jet plane. It was at 17-40 - 17-45. The time in our area is Moscow time.

The first thought was a nuclear missile could have been missed? The men observed this and guessed that this happens when working with rockets. At least it didn't look like the northern lights. We have never seen him in the north.
