Initial data
A message from Moskovoy V.N. about the observation of an unusual phenomenon in the Kupchino district of Leningrad.
I observed this phenomenon in September 1986. It was a windless and cloudless morning, about 7 o'clock, the sun had not yet risen.
I was at the corner of Danube Avenue and Malaya Bukharestskaya Street in the Frunzinsky district (Kupchino).
I noticed that a man standing next to me was looking up. I looked in the same direction and saw an unusual phenomenon.
From the northeast, at an altitude of about 0.5 km above the roof of a 12-storey building, a large ball, the size of the evening sun setting over the horizon, glowing with a whitish-silver light, hovered. I watched him for 3 minutes. The light of the ball did not blind the eyes. Then the ball dissipated as if it had melted. There were no extraneous traces left. I didn't hear any strange unusual sounds.
