Kireeva Diana Alexandrovna writes to the editorial office of the newspaper "Trud":
Today I read an article in your newspaper "Exactly at 4.10 ..." Responding to your request, I am writing about a phenomenon that once so excited me and was so improbable that I did not dare to tell anyone about it, I was afraid they would consider it, sorry, abnormal.
It was in the winter, in February of 1983.
I was walking home from work at seven o'clock in the evening. (I work at the Scientific Research Institute of Plant Protection in Pushkin - Leningrad) The sky was dark, almost cloudless. Suddenly, in front of me, a glowing object instantly appeared in the sky. At what height, I find it difficult to say now, but it seemed big and close to me. I clearly remember that the object remained motionless in one place, only the yellow, red, blue or green lights were flashing brightly (I don't remember) colors. Like a Christmas tree in the new year - very beautiful. The object was in my opinion in an upright position.
There was a yellowish luminous cloud at the top, something vague, and from it there was a dark stripe with transverse dark lines going down (see figure) I remember well the left side with flashing lights (lights)
It was such an unusual sight - it seemed that I was standing in front of a living object, as if hypnotized.
Suddenly, the object instantly disappeared. continuing on my way, I turned the corner of the building and saw the glowing object again. He was standing in the path of a passenger plane that was gaining altitude from the Pulkovo airfield. It seemed to me that the plane was going to crash into the object now, but when the liner caught up with the object, it instantly disappeared, and the self-let continued on its way.
I didn't see a glowing object in the sky anymore.
I want to note that the speed at which the object appeared in front of the plane was just a moment and completely silent.
