At first glance, the idea of making a cast-iron bathtub fly into the air seems surreal and even impossible. However, the Mikenbecker brothers from Germany decided to prove the opposite and made it possible. They have created a unique aircraft that surprises with its originality and ingenuity.
The bathtub, which is capable of taking off into the sky, was assembled from improvised materials. The brothers used belts instead of straps, the removable seat was made of pillows. However, the most important element of this amazing aircraft was an unusual design that gives the bath stability in the air. The center of gravity of the tub was deliberately shifted backwards, allowing it to fly without the risk of overturning.
As the creators of this unique copter bath, Johannes and Philipp Mikenbeker, explain, "the batteries are attached to the armrests, and it takes about three hours to charge them." These German engineers not only demonstrated their skills in the field of aviation, but also showed that even everyday objects can find a new life thanks to a creative approach.
However, using a cast-iron bathtub as an aircraft does not mean that the Mikenbeker brothers can fly around the city without restrictions. Every time before departure, they need to get permission from the local authorities, which creates additional difficulties and surprises officials. Undoubtedly, applications for flying a flying bath have become something unique.
The Mikenbacker brothers, despite all the difficulties they have to overcome, continue to improve their unusual inventive project.
