I read in the newspaper "Trud" about the strange events in the Rapla area of the Estonian SSR. You asked everyone who met with such phenomena to write to the specified address. So I decided to write.

I used to live in the village of Medkoyedov, Kirov region. I was 12-13 years old (I have been since 1953). One summer at 10 p.m., we - the youth of our village - gathered at the poplars, the usual place for games and entertainment (there was no club). And someone saw this strange phenomenon - a bright crimson ball floated over the village at an altitude of about 100 meters, of course. The ball was 2-1.5 meters in diameter. At first it was thought that it was a ball lightning, but the ball was too big. We watched it for half an hour until the ball disappeared behind the forest.
