Initial data
Our circumpolar city is not able to compete with other areas in terms of the number of invasions or nesting sites BUT also others.Nevertheless, Inta does not stay away
from these problems.
Almost the only, but hopefully not the last, case of visual UFO sightings occurred at the end of 1990.
A few hours before the New Year, according to eyewitnesses and the local press, residents of our city, busy with the last shopping of food coupons for a meager festive table, observed an unidentified flying object in the form of a pulsating fireball hovering in the area of Novaya Square.
It would be the size of half a disk of the moon with indistinct outlines and from time to time changed the intensity and color of the coloring.
In several side lights or portholes, most likely guessed by a very bright glow than by the contour, the glow was constant. The UFO for some reason fumbled with a beam of light on the roofs of houses, and then, flashing brightly, departed at great speed into the gloomy polar night.
