On September 17, 1979, at night, at 3-4 o'clock, I got up and saw the following through the window above the lake: some kind of fiery red glow was moving from right to left. When clouds came across them, they were brightly illuminated. A brightly glowing core was clearly visible, it seemed. The speed was low, and the trail zigzagged behind. The "thing" itself is large - 10 degrees across the sky. The trail was white, zigzagging upward in circles. I watched it for a few minutes.

It was in the northeast. I saw the port. I immediately realized that this was something unnatural. It looks a bit like a seagull with outstretched wings.
