Description of observations of unusual phenomena and objects in Brest in August 1972 by three eyewitnesses (reported by Olga Vladimirovna Plitko, born in 1960, economist.).

One day in August (I don't remember the exact date) in 1972, my sister, aunt and I witnessed unusual phenomena in the atmosphere.

After a hot day, it was a quiet warm evening. I was in a room on Fruitovaya Street in Brest, reading a book. This and other private houses had 1 floor and were located in a flat area.

Late in the evening, around 24 o'clock local time, my sister called me outside. I went out and then my sister and aunt drew my attention to the sky, which was cloudless. All the stars were darkened, but high in the sky at an angle to the horizon of about 60 degrees, unusual bright red identical stars of quite large magnitude were visible, which formed a figure resembling a snake. At the moment when I first looked at the sky, the stars seemed to "manifest" like photographic cards. the arrangement of the stars had angular dimensions of about 20 degrees at maximum. The stars were perceived as material bodies, had clear boundaries and did not blink. The figure formed by the stars was stationary and lasted about 2-3 minutes. The total number of stars was about 8. Then the stars dissolved and disappeared before our eyes.

After 1 minute, no more, a figure resembling a jug slowly "appeared" in the same place in the above-mentioned way. Manifesting, the figure has finally formed. it did not consist of stars, it was homogeneous, but the same as the stars of bright red color, monophonic and had clear boundaries (Figure 2). The "Jug" hung motionless for about 5 minutes. it consisted of 3 parts: the main part, the handle on the right, which seemed to be adjacent to the main part, the lid with a protrusion. The sky was visible between the lid and the main part.

Then the gap between the lid and the main part gradually disappeared, the "jug" began to smoothly change shape and transformed into an almost round "moon" with a slightly elliptical upper part (Figure 3). The resulting moon was also bright red in color, monotonous. Its dimensions were about 3/4 of the size of a normal full moon.

After a while, spots of indistinct shape appeared on the "moon", more saturated (darker) in tone than the rest of it.

Further, "the moon began to turn pink, gradually it turned orange. after some time of observation, I entered the house, because I wanted to calm down, because during the whole time of observation, along with curiosity, I experienced a feeling of nervous chills, I was "uneasy".

The total observation time was about 15 minutes. before entering the house, I noticed that the "moon" is located at some distance from the place where I first saw the figure from the star. Unfortunately, I have not decided on the parts of the world.

The above-mentioned phenomena and evolutions were not accompanied by any sound effects. I haven't seen anything like this before or since.

In August 1972, my sister, aunt and I witnessed unusual phenomena in the sky. I have been observing the development of the phenomenon since some point. My sister and aunt told me about the previous events.

About 24 hours later, we noticed 2 clouds, which were the only ones in the sky and were sailing relatively fast. One cloud was above the other with some displacement. the clouds had the same speed.

Suddenly, a strange object resembling a moon with horns up and an element in the middle "floated out" of the lower cloud. the object hovered between the clouds at an equal distance from them. The clouds quickly drifted away and disappeared from view.

The suspended object had clear boundaries and was perceived as a material body. The maximum size of the object was equal to 3/4 of the diameter of the full moon on a full moon.

then the object disappeared. After a while, a bright red figure appeared in the same place, which "hung" for several minutes, and then disappeared like the original object. There have been several such evolutions. It was a very unusual sight. We decided to call Olga, which Galina did.
