Initial data
A.A. Kokanov writes to the Commission on AI.:
Through the telescope, I saw an object initially mistaken for Jupiter, but strangely rotated, the equatorial zone was located vertically. The disk was round and not elliptical, as the disk of Jupiter should be. The dark equatorial zone occupied about 1-3 diameters in width, gradually turning into light polar zones along the edges.
In the upper part of the equatorial zone, closer to the left side, there was a large dark, sharply prominent oval-shaped spot about 1/4 in diameter, located with a large axis parallel to the "equator".
In the upper left part, a bright light area of a round shape and a size of 1 \ 10 of the diameter of the disk shone.
The same thing was observed in the area of the right (in the field of view of the telescope) "pole", only less brightly.
Sometimes the dark spot became rather indistinct, while the edges of the disk, the yellow spots and the equatorial zone remained sharp.
By 21-45, the brightness of the object had greatly weakened and continued to decrease. The object was stationary. The coordinates of the object are H= 69 degrees, from the meridian 25-30 degrees to the west.
At 23-20, it got dark, the brightness of the object and the details on it decreased greatly, the size of the object also changed, it decreased by 2 times, it was no longer visible to the naked eye. the sky is clear, without clouds.
The brightness of the object from 21-45 is estimated at -1 magnitude. At 22-05, the object disappeared in the area of the constellation Volopas.
