Initial data
Lydia Nikolaevna Blokhina, a doctor, informs the AIA Commission:
The event took place in 1981. On May 12-13, at about 2 a.m., Lidia Nikolaevna was in the courtyard of house No. 11 cor.1, waiting for the police, who were called about the troubles in the communal apartment where she lived at that time.
A large star appeared in the sky from Vsevolozhsk, which descended to the Earth along an inclined line, turned into a spherical object glowing like a light bulb. After a short stop, the object began to descend vertically and finally stopped, turned from a ball into an inverted plate, similar to the hoods over street lamps used in the past.
Beams of light were coming down from under the plate. The effect was observed for 3-5 minutes. The object was hanging above the houses. Further events or in reverse order: cessation of luminescence, vertical ascent, stop, transformation into a luminous ball, inclined ascent towards the Neva. The object stopped being observed, hiding behind the houses.
At the time of observation, there was a feeling of danger of possible radiation (the observer was at that time in a state of "delayed pregnancy").
Two policemen who arrived soon after, on call, told Lidia Nikolaevna that they had just observed a strange phenomenon. What the police told me in detail coincided with what Blokhina had seen.
