The football coach of the Youth Sports School writes to the AIA Commission. Sochi Mazmanidi M.T.:
A fireball appeared over the Adler district of Sochi at an altitude of about 3,000 m above the horizon. The ball was red-orange-yellow in color. Since its inception, the ball has been the size of a table tennis ball.
For 10 minutes the balloon hung motionless, as if floating in the air. Then he began to dramatically increase his size, in about 3 minutes he increased to the size of a football (at arm's length). Then there was a bright flash and the ball disappeared. The flash resembles an arc welding flash. The glare from the flash remained in his eyes. The flash color is blue-red.
