Initial data
The eyewitness is Black, a student from Kharkov:
I watched the flight of an unknown object on September 19, 1978.
It happened on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus in Lazarevskoye, where I
I was on vacation at that time.My observation took place in the afternoon and lasted about 10-15 seconds.
The weather was clear and sunny, but over the sea in the western sector of the sky
It was cloudy. An unknown object appeared from behind a cloud and moved horizontally about 40° above the sea surface. The object is pretty at first
it glowed brightly. He looked like a little soloist. The glow was egg-shaped, but both ends of it were pointed.Suddenly, the glow instantly went out and in its place I saw a flying
an object that resembles a rectangle in shape. This object was dark gray in color. After a few seconds, this "rectangle" disappeared behind a cloud.
I find it difficult to determine the size of the object, as well as the distance that this object flew during my observation. I think that in degrees of arc this distance will be about 90°.
I can determine the distance between me and the object at 6-7 kilometers, but no more.
No other objects were seen. The object was not photographed. No one observed the object with me.
