Lights are visible above the farm.
The following statement of submission was provided by u/kiwipie22 :
I saw these flashing lights in the sky above Knotts Berry Farm in California. I'm not sure what they are, they didn't seem to move, about five minutes after I noticed them, they disappeared. I noticed them when I was waiting in line for a ride, and I stood in line for a while. Thoughts? It was on 31.12.23 at 18:37.

It was just hovering. Maybe it was from the lights below? Thoughts?

I saw these flashing lights in the sky over knotts berry farm in California. Im not sure what they are, they didn’t seem to be moving, after about five minutes after I noticed them, they were gone. I noticed them while waiting in line for a ride and I was in line for a while. Thoughts? This was on 12/31/23 at 6:37 pm.
Hypotheses
Light sources on clouds
Lasers, searchlights, car headlights and other light sources of sufficient power can form a column of light in a dusty or foggy atmosphere, various patterns on low clouds, fog or haze. Also, the rays can highlight parts of the cloud, objects or birds, giving them bizarre shapes.
Searchlights can shine with one beam, several. They can be stationary, move, and also form spinning carousels on the clouds, which can change shape and color.
It often seems that the light source is located at the point where the beam hits the cloud, and not vice versa.
