Comet Donati (C/1858 L1)

Long-period comet, discovered by Italian astronomer Giovanni Donati on 2 June 1858. After the Great Comet of 1811, she was the most beautiful comet that appeared in the nineteenth century. She was also the first photographed a comet. Nearest to the Earth position reached on 10 October 1858.
