A couple who claim the ghost of a Victorian girl is "haunting" some of their family snaps say they have been left terrified by the spooky images.
John Burnside and Shona Backhouse took a handful of photos when visiting York's Castle Museum two years ago with their baby son Johnthomas.
But when looking again at the photographs more recently, they noticed the image of a ghostly girl appearing in some of the pictures.
Her faint form appears in black and white around the edges of the photos, and she appears to be dressed in Victorian clothes.
Mr Burnside told MailOnline: "It's enough to make you paranoid. It gives me goose bumps every time I think about it".
"I don't like the idea of ghosts or anything like that. It gives me panic attacks."
Miss Backhouse added: "It is like it was following us because it was in the last picture of me taken outside."
"The room one of the pics was taken in I wouldn't go inside. It gave me goosepimples and shivers."
Castle Museum, on the site of a former prison, has long been said to be haunted.
