Initial data
These rare multiple light poles were captured by the web camera Gemini Observatory on 13 February 2018. The camera is looking East from the summit of the volcano Mauna Kea in Hawaii. These colorful light pillars were created by the bright lights of the city Hilo, which is located to the East of the Explorer Twins in Hawaii.
UFO researcher Scott C. Waring-Taiwan writes:
Watch fleet of UFOs over Hawaii. Suddenly for a brief moment, together, they light up, creating pillars of light above and below them. Why they do this, we do not understand, but they can carry their vehicles underground or to communicate with other aliens in an underground or underwater base nearby. Awesome proof here!

Original news
These rare multiple light pillars were captured by the Gemini Observatory webcam on February 13, 2018. The camera was facing east from the top of the Mauna Kea Volcano in Hawaii. These muti-colored light pillars were created by the bright city lights of Hilo, which is located just east of the Gemini Obsevatory in Hawaii.
Watch as a fleet of UFOs over Hawaii are seen, then suddenly for a brief moment, together in unison, they light up, creating pillars of light above and below them. Why they are doing this is beyond our understanding, but they may be transporting their ships below the ground or communication with other aliens in an underground or underwater base nearby. Awesome evidence here!

Hypotheses
Ice needles
Solid precipitation in the form of fine ice crystals floating in the air, resulting in cold weather (air temperature below -10...-15°). Day sparkle in the light of the sun, at night in the moonlight or by the light of lanterns. Often ice needles form at night beautiful glowing "pillars", coming from the lanterns up in the sky.
Occur most often during clear or cloudy the sky, sometimes fall from cirrostratus or Cirrus clouds.
Events
Rocket launches (from space.skyrocket.de)
- Site: Xichang Space Center (Songlin), Sichuan (China) Vehicle: CZ-3B/G3Z Payload: BD-3 M3 (Beidou 28) BD-3 M4 (Beidou 29)
Investigation
On the basis of appearance, the rights of the author posted the video - it's the light poles (or AK also called "ice needles") are atmospheric phenomenon.
