Messages about UFOs and the high-voltage lines has been described by George. Fuller reliably documented in his book "the incident at Exeter".
He describes the observation of Joseph Jalbert, which was most unusual "operations for refueling" in the area of Exeter on 21 October 1965:
"Joseph noticed in the sky a reddish cigar-shaped object high above the power lines. A few minutes later he was hovering absolutely silently. How long exactly — he doesn't know, as he was quite taken by this sight. After quite a long time the red-orange disk emerged apparently from inside the object, and began, slowly hovering down to the lines.
When he reached the point which was about a quarter mile from them, leveled off and moved along the wires. He then descended several hundred feet over the wires and slowly lowered even up to a few feet above them. Then a silver tube-like appendage emerged from the base of the drive and touched the wires.
In this position he remained for a minute or so. Then the process slowly drawn back to the body of the disc and the disc took off at high speed, which Joseph could not identify, then joined a reddish cigar-shaped object and disappeared inside it."
