In 1992 in the newspaper "Prichulymskiy Vestnik" published an article stating that the inhabitants of Achinsk have observed two UFOs.
23 and 24 July, many residents of Achinsk were observed in the Western part of the sky, above the Chulym river, two bright points of light. Sometimes they moved in the sky, one of them burned brighter, the other was dimmer. Point coming close to each other, then retreated to a decent distance. Then around one of them formed a milky-white glowing halo systems. On the background of the sunset sky it was visible. After dark, the object disappeared as suddenly as they appeared.
