A few teenagers, mostly students at the school, Manuel Baquedano, told about the meeting with young men similar to dwarves. Growth they were 30 cm long, wore colorful clothes and all seemed to be male. Men hid in a thicket in the woods and when playing children noticed them, the leader of the "dwarfs," wearing a black robe, started to shout something in a thin voice, and to throw at the students with stones. He seemed the oldest and looked like a man with a beard.

One witness, 12-year-old Felipe Guerrero Silva said that the other "dwarves" was not aggressive. They wore red, green and white clothing and one of them in white apparel even tried to make friends with the boy and said something to him in an incomprehensible language during this short meeting.
