Together with my wife I got out of the car in front of our apartment, when her attention was attracted by a strange light in the sky. She caught my attention, and together we looked up.
It was a white light with the diameter of the full moon, surrounded by three other, smaller lights.
The weather was clear but very light, misty, moon and stars could not be seen.
The Central (white) light in silence hung in the air, the rest was slowly turning around him. It was, of course, not a helicopter (no sound), and a helicopter spotlight.
We kept watching as if hypnotized. To estimate the height or diameter was difficult. In a few minutes the smaller lights disappeared in the Central luminous object.

AMSTERDAM ZUIDOOST, NH — Het voorval vond plaats nu bijna 3 jaar geleden. Samen met mijn vrouw stapte ik uit de auto voor onze flat, toen haar aanacht werd getrokken door vreemde lichten boven onze flat. Ze attendeerde mij erop en samen bleven we omhoog kijken. Het betrof een wit licht met de diameter van een volle maan, waaromheen 3 andere, kleinere lichten zich bevonden. Het weer was helder maar heel licht nevelig en verder geen sterren of maan te zien. Het centrale (witte) licht hing doodstil in de lucht, de andere draaiden er langzaam om heen. Het was beslist geen helicopter (geen geluid) en ook geen zoeklicht van een heli. We bleven gebiologeerd kijken. Hoogte schatten of diameter was moeilijk. Na een paar minuten verdwenen de kleinere lichten in het centrale lichtgevende object, om daar na geruisloos en snel te verdwijnen in westelijke richting.
