The witness received a phone call from a friend who was on the motorway E313 near Herenthout:

I'm from the area, so he called me and said that he saw a triangle in the sky.

I went outside, not knowing what to expect. First on the backyard: there was nothing to be seen. Then on the other side of the house.

There I saw 1 bright white-yellow highly luminous sphere with 4 small flashing lights, at least one of which was red.

It moved fairly quickly. After a few seconds I saw the second and third, all three objects went in different directions.

Ik kreeg telefoon van een vriend van me die op de autosnelweg E313 naast Herenthout reed. Ik ben van in die buurt dus hij belde me op om te zeggen dat hij een driehoekvorm in de lucht zag. Ik ging naar buiten, niet wetend wat te verwachten. Eerst naar de achtertuin: daar was niets te zien. Naar de andere kant van het huis dan maar. Daar zag ik 1 felle witgele sterk lichtgevende bol met 4 kleine knipperlichtjes waarvan er minstens 1 rood was. Het bewoog zich vrij snel vooruit. Enkele seconden later zag ik er een tweede en een derde, alle drie gingen ze een andere richting uit.
