Le 17 février 2015, le ciel était dégagé sur la plage de Summerleaze, située à Bude, dans le Nord du comté. C’est dans ces conditions qu’un promeneur a repéré quelque-chose d’inhabituelle dans les airs. Sans trop hésiter, il prit une photo dans l’espoir que l’on lui fournisse une explication sur ce qui s’est passée.
L’OVNI, visible en haut et droite de l’image, possède une forme vaguement triangulaire. Il avait un aspect plus ou moins métallique.
Les membres d’un groupe ufologue local, le « Cornwall UFO Research Group », se sont intéressés à l’affaire après avoir publié la fameuse photo sur leur page Facebook. Malgré une analyse minutieuse, personne n’est encore parvenue à déterminer l’origine de ce mystérieux engin.
