Initial data
A man driving a diesel truck noticed his headlights dimmed and then went out. He stopped, his engine was still running, and saw a large purplish-red oval-shaped object (about 80 feet (24.3 m) in length), moving on the road ahead at the height of the Telegraph pole, making a humming sound.
The object hovered, and a few seconds started to move and accelerated. The witness noticed a pungent smell.
Another car traveling in the opposite direction, was also stopped, as a result of failure in the engine and the headlights.
