Initial data
In Uzhgorod (The Carpathian Region) in Bozdo Park in the mid-1980s there was an event that could proudly be featured on the front pages of ufological publications today, but, for some reasons, this case has only recently been made public.
The event by ufological standards is not ordinary, because after its visual demonstration, UFOs left material samples: they could be... Feel with your hands! It would seem that here they are, irrefutable evidence of the existence of elusive "flying saucers", but the story has developed in a different way ... About
The forgotten pages of the Carpathian ufology are written in the city newspaper "SS-FEST" from May 25-31, 2012 (No.22 (823)) ufologist Yaroslav Sochka and journalist Victor Tar.
Events unfolded on one of the warm evenings of June 1984. The director of Bozdo Park, together with the watchman, drove a car through the park. Suddenly in the sky there were mysterious three balls, which were poured in different colors. Suddenly one of the balls erupted and... collapsed to the ground.
There was no limit to the men's surprise. They've never seen anything like it in their lives! The watchman wanted to get out of the car out of curiosity, but the director, a former military man, decided not to take any risks, stopped him, ordered to shut down the engine and turn off the lights. Just in case...
The men sat in the car for a few minutes in silence, watching the other two objects, and only when they disappeared behind the horizon, decided to get out of the car and carefully examine the site of the "UFO accident". H
Witnesses subsequently transferred the unknown material from the mysterious ball that "crashed" to the space research laboratory of Uzhgorod National University.
At that time, Matrena Vasilyevna Bratiychuk, a professor and founder of the laboratory (1927-2001), was the head of the space research laboratory. She was incredulous about all sorts of stories about "flying saucers", but the stories of eyewitnesses in the scientific institution were immediately taken seriously, because the director of the park by profession worked for a long time in aviation, and such people are not prone to pranks or hoaxes.
Local astronomers remember well the story of eyewitnesses of the UFO incident. They were questioned by journalist Victor Tar during the filming of the documentary "UFO over the Carpathian Mountains" (Mukachevskaya TV and Radio Company "M-Studio", 2009).
Janos MOTRONIC, a senior researcher at the Space Research Laboratory, says:
« ... At about 11 o'clock in the evening, at the full moon, the director of Bozdo Park, together with a watchman, saw three mysterious balls in the sky, the size of a basketball, flying towards them from the side of the administrative buildings. When they stopped the car, they began to look at the objects more carefully. The balls were bright, shimmering with fluorescent light. One of these objects suddenly fell to the ground, the crash site was clearly visible as the moon brightly illuminated the area. Remains of the exploded ball, which looked like the usual burnt out plastic, eyewitnesses carefully collected in a box of matches ... »
Remains from a UFO that fell in Bozdo Park, employees of the space research laboratory of UzhNU, for lack of equipment and methods of research of incomprehensible things, passed to the Astronomical Council of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. However, they had no idea what the material was.
Astronomical glad was forced to transfer the wreckage to another organization, but there could not find an explanation for the origin of the mysterious wreckage. Finally, astronomers at Uzhgorod National University politely thanked for the find and at the same time reported that data on such phenomena, both in Europe and Asia, they have a lot (!) history is silent about the current location of mysterious wreckage from Bozdo Park, their composition and possible nature.
However, it is well known that these wreckages were, and the nature of the "UFO phenomenon" is still "unidentified" or even discredited.
