An eyewitness from the city of Venendahl writes:
An object the size of a small jet came from the south. It was dark in color with dim white light on every corner. I didn't make a sound.
The fact is that I often look into the night sky to see the shooting stars, planes, satellites, etc., otherwise I wouldn't even see it.
then really was the moment of WTF is THAT!! *.
He was flying less than usual on schedule ... at the height of the balloon. Unfortunately, I couldn't see what was going on... it flew north over the roof.

VEENENDAAL, UT — Object ter grootte van een klein straalvliegtuig kwam vanuit zuidelijke richting. Het was donker gekleurd met elke hoek gedimd wit licht. Het maakte geen geluid. Het is dat ik vaak naar de nachtelijke hemel tuur om *vallende sterren*, vliegtuigen, satellieten etc. te spotten anders had ik het niet eens waargenomen. Dit was echt een *WTF is dat!!* moment. Het vloog minder hoog dan normale lijnvluchten ..ongeveer zo hoog als een flink opgestegen luchtballon. Helaas kon ik niet verder zien wat er gebeurde..het vloog richting noord over het dak.
