Initial data
M. Gorse, a member of the Clermont-Riom LDLN, was driving along the road under the bare hill of Puy de Chanturgue in rainy weather when he saw on the hill, about 600 feet away, a black triangular figure supporting a square head resembling a "champagne cork".
Stopping the car, he got out to watch this object, which moved without touching the ground, sometimes passing behind bushes. It was the size of a man, but wider.
At one time it disappeared before his eyes, then reappeared. He broke off surveillance after 4 minutes.
