Lars thorn, a truck driver, was riding with his son on a motorcycle near the Skillingard artillery field in Central Sweden when they noticed an unusual aerial object through the trees in the direction of the bunker.
"Although it seemed motionless," said Lars thorn, " it kept swaying or swaying back and forth. There was a dome on the upper side. There was something gray-red just below the dome, and again a little lower down I could see what looked like a green ribbon or stripe around the edge. The bottom was red.
From it came a whistling sound at intervals of 10 to 15 seconds with a more or less uniform interval."
Thorne was able to take two black-and-white photos with his small camera.

On the upper side there appeared to be a dome. Just below the dome there was something gray and red, and again just below that, I could see what looked like a green ribbon or band around the rim. The very bottom was red. A whizzing sound came from it at intervals of 10 to 15 seconds on more or less regular spacing.” Thorn was able to snap two black and white photographs with his small camera.
