An eyewitness from the city of BIC writes:

An orange sphere, sometimes 2, that moved very erratically at high speed, faster than an airplane.

I was about to go to bed when I saw the object. It was coming from Heerlen, I think Bika airport, and must have been spotted by a plane that had just taken off from there.

I took a video, but you can only see what's moving in dim light. No flashing airplane lights.

About one o'clock in the morning I could no longer see him.

BEEK, LB — Een oranje bol soms 2 die zich heel wispelturig bewoog met hoge snelheid, sneller dan een vliegtuig. Ik wilde net naar bed gaan toen ik het object waar nam. Het bewoog van omg. Heerlen naar ik denk vliegveld Beek en moet waargenomen zijn door een vliegtuig wat daar juist was opgestegen. Heb een filmpje gemaakt maar is alleen nog een zwak licht waar te nemen wat zich verplaatst. Geen knipperende lichten van een vliegtuig. Rond 1:00 uur kon ik het niet langer waarnemen.
