An eyewitness from the city of Baarn writes:
At first I thought I saw a stork, but then I clearly saw a vertically cylindrical object with black contours and a light dot in the middle.
The object was about West-Northwest of my position, and I estimate about 100-300 m above the ground and 200-300 m away from me.
I watched the object for about 5-15 seconds.
When I saw the outlines, I thought of the drone that was supposed to be working on the bridge at Embrugge, but the shape ruled out that explanation for me.
Unfortunately, there are no photos, because I was driving in the car.
But I definitely think it should have been seen by more people.

BAARN, UT — Ik dacht eerst een ooievaar te zien maar toen zag ik duidelijk een cilinder vormig opject verticaal met zwarte contouren en in het midden een lichtpunt.
Het opject was ongeveer WNW van mijn positie en ik schat ongeveer 100-300m boven de grond en 200-300 meter van mij vandaan.
Ik heb het object ongeveer 5-15sec kunnen waarnemen.
Toen ik de contouren zag dacht ik aan een drone Ivm werkzaamheden aan de brug bij Eembrugge maar de vorm sloot dat voor mij uit.
Helaas geen foto’s Ivm dat ik achter het stuur in de auto zat.
Maar ik denk zeker dat dit meer mensen moeten hebben gezien.
